The initiative, part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is delivered by both North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council in partnership with the Business & IP Centre Northamptonshire.

The third round of the programme had an overwhelming response, with over 70 entrepreneurs applying for a £2,000 start-up grant. Leveraging the knowledge, skills and tools acquired from the Build Your Business programme, eligible entrepreneurs had the opportunity to submit a business plan as part of the competitive application process. The small business grant panels reviewed the business plans and awarded 18 grants to businesses in West Northamptonshire and 15 grants to businesses in North Northamptonshire.

We are delighted to introduce the 33 entrepreneurs and small businesses who have been selected for these grants.
